Traveler's Notes : Important Websites!

Go Online -  is the best way (for me) to gather information about travel destination, transportation system, train schedule, and many - many - many more! There are many useful websites, blogs and forum that provide various information about travelling and the most important, their own travelling experiences. I always find it interesting to read others travelling stories and wonder what my story will be if I travel to that place.


Among millions travelling websites, blogs and forums, here is my - must-visit - websites whenever I am looking for some inspirations to decide my next travel destination in Europe. Hope it is useful! :)

Search Engine
  • Google! - it answers EVERYTHING! 
  • Budget Places - for cheap hotels, hostels, apartment, bed and breakfast 
  • Hostel World - another place to visit to look for cheap hotels, hostels, apartments, B&B
  • Airbnb - if you want to meedle with locals or want to rent your room, apartment, etc

Welcome May! We are almost in the first half of 2013 and it has been a year since my first visit to Salzburg - time flies! The Dark and Shining Berlin

I suuupperrr love the title spun (and also the drama - The Lonely and Shining Goblin). Ha. Di Shorties kali ini, saya ingin menceritakan 1 Day trip ke Berlin, ibukota Jerman. Sebagai fans tim sepakbola Jerman, saya sudah ngefans banget sama Jerman dan mimpi masa SD saya itu mengunjungi Berlin dan melihat Berlin Wall! Saya bingung kenapa saya gak bahas trip ke Berlin ini lebih awal. Tapi, dibalik kemegahannya, saya lebih tertarik melihat sejarah bagaimana perubahan kota ini, yang dulunya sempat terpecah menjadi Berlin Barat dan Timur. This post is dedicated to all European budget airlines lovers! Airport - is the important place. This is where our travelling starts and ended. If we could not know where is the airport and how to get to the airport, than our travelling will be a mess. Since I travel a lot with European budget airline,  I have to invest more time to look for the information regarding the airports used in budget airports, especially the location and how to get there (most important!).  Most of the budget airline (esp. Ryan Air) are using local airports which is located far (away) from the city. Beside the location, these local airports also do not have varieties of public transportation access.
