All Around Europe : Local Airports Part I

This post is dedicated to all European budget airlines lovers! Airport - is the important place. This is where our travelling starts and ended. If we could not know where is the airport and how to get to the airport, than our travelling will be a mess. Since I travel a lot with European budget airline,  I have to invest more time to look for the information regarding the airports used in budget airports, especially the location and how to get there (most important!).  Most of the budget airline (esp. Ryan Air) are using local airports which is located far (away) from the city. Beside the location, these local airports also do not have varieties of public transportation access. Therefore, I decided to compile the information regarding these-out-of-nowhere local airports in Europe. I hope it could help all European budget airlines lovers! :) After did some listing, I realised there will be too much information here - that might make you explode. Therefore, I decided to d...

Postcard #7 : Stockholm

Stockholm.  Modern as in Berlin Romantic as in Paris.  Beautiful as in Venice.  Classic as in Vienna.  and... Expensive because it is Stockholm. Ha. You know that I still remember you dearly.  I cannot not wanting to visiting you again, spend more days or weeks there.  I hope to see you again, Stockholm.  Sooner or later.  Someday.

A beach called Dreamland

Let's take a break in Europe and go back to Indonesia. As you can see (perhaps), 2013 is not my travelling-year, so it is SO HARD for me to move on from the memories in Europe a year ago. But, fortunately I could visit Bali (again) 2 weeks ago and had a short trip to Dreamland , a beach located 15 minutes away from my house (but, I have never beeeeennn there!). Honestly, I am not so into to the beach - because beach only has 1. sands, 2. saltwater, 3. sun (a very HOT one). So, yeah, when I suddenly planned to go there, I did not have a big expectation. I just, go. And this is what Dreamland offered to entertain my eyes, my soul and my mind. Beautiful. Dreamland, paradise in Bali :) I am sorry that I underestimate your existence, dear Dreamland. :) So, are you excited and want to get more information about this wonderful beach? You visit the right place! Sands, rocks, seaweeds are best experienced with BAREFOOT :)  *** Dreamland is located inside the P...

Postcard #6 : Venice

For the last remembrance of Venice, I bought several postcards there. But, unfortunately - I have sent some of them BEFORE I took their pictures. :(  So, here are the last two postcards from Venice and if you miss my older post about Venice, you could read it here .  The price for each postcard is relatively cheap - around 50 cents until 1 Euro .  The first postcard shows the inside part of St. Marco - and you could only buy it in the souvenir store nearby the entrance of St. Marco.  Inside St. Marco  The second postcard is the grand canal - the most famous view in Venice and a must see!  Apart from these postcards, you could find MOREE postcards with beautiful scenery.  No wonder, as I have said it before - even the most un-touched place in Venice is BEAUTIFUL. :)

Hostel Review : Camping Village Jolly

In June, I am planning to write a lot about my journey to Italy which was . . . exactly a year ago. So, as a starting post, I would like to share a hostel review of Camping Village Jolly . :)  Camping Village Jolly is a backpacker "home" for those travelling to Venice. It is located in the mainland and it takes around 15 minutes long journey from the nearest bus stop to Venice.  Camping Jolly to Venice on google maps The nearest bus stop is 15 minutes away from the Village, but if you are too tired to walk, Camping Village Jolly provides shuttle bus service. You have to check the shuttle schedule once you land your feet in Camping Village Jolly and book it right away - because it is limited! Also, you have to spend your Euro if you want to use the shuttle bus service. I forgot how much it is, but it should cost less than 5 Euros. :)  Note from me: if you take the night shuttle service, the bus stops in Tronchento and you could not go there without using...

Thessaloniki . . . where is it?

Raise your hand if you have the same question! Thessaloniki is the second-largest city in Greece and currently promoted as a new travel destination city in Greece. The white tower at night Actually, this city was not in my destination list and I visited this place purely because of Ryan Air. I really had no idea what kind of this city is and I found only little information about the travel destination in this city. That is why I eager to write some information about Thessaloniki, since you might have to visit this city if you are going to use Ryan Air. International Airport Macedonia First thing to note down - the Ryan Air's flight to Greece is often stopped in the International Airport Macedonia. This airport is 40 minutes away from the Thessaloniki city center. From the airport, you could take bus 78 and pay for less than a Euro. ( Everything is cheap in Greece! ) And for your information, you have to use your instinc to decide where you have to stop - because...
