Postcard #5 : Neuschwanstein

My gift for you, the Neuschwanstein castle's fans.

Since I could not take ANY pictures inside the castle, I bought these postcard to remind me about those wonderful chandeliers, the glamorous gold colored hall, the King's bedroom, the secret garden complete with the cave inside the castle, and the sad stories of the king - who could not live long enough to live in his fairy tale castle.

This postcard costed about 1 Euro. It is more expensive because, tourist could not take take pictures inside the castle. :(

All Around Europe : Grocery Stores

It is time to add another post for All Around Europe series . For today, I would like to review several grocery stores in Europe. The reviews will be based on my own Shopping O'meter scale and everything written here is based on my own experiences and opinions. :) #1 Shopping O'meter scale :  The place where everything could be found, touched, felt, seen,  and of course bought - whenever you need it, or not. :)  Comments :  Since Kaufland is only 5 minutes away from my office, I often do my grocery shopping here.  The shopping area is big.  The price is relatively low compared with others. The quality equals to what you paid. A suggested place to kill your boring time.  #2 Shopping O'meter scale :  Emergency grocery store for those who forget that shops are closed at 6 PM in Europe.  Comments : I often do my grocery shopping here because this is the last grocery store that still open until 10 ...

Hujan Coklat di Rosenmontag Karneval !

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013 TRAVELERS !

Postcard #1: Vatican

The one and only post office in Vatican Postcards and travelling are so closely related. I learned it for the first time when my friend told me that she has sent many postcards to Indonesia while she was staying in Germany. I laughed at her at first but the more I travel, I realized that even though postcards do not too popular in Indonesia, but it IS in other countries. And, postcards are the CHEAPEST authentic souvenirs you could buy wherever you are travelling! From this, I get an idea to write about my postcards in Traveler's Passport. It might look so boring, but I hope through this post I could spread the "postcards fever" to all travelers around the world! So, here is my first postcard in Europe - the one originated from Vatican. I sent it on July 2nd, 2012 from post office in Vatican. The price for each postcard is around 50 cent - 1 Euro and the stamps costed around 1.60 Euro. Since it was the first time, I sent three postcards to Indonesia a...
