Postcard #2: Greece

Before I end this day, I would love to share the second postcard.

Today's postcard originated from Athena, Greece. 

Since I had never thought to send postcards, I only bought 3 postcards without send it from the post office there. (boo)
But wait, I think I did not see any post office nor mail box in Athena and Thessaloniki. So, it was not my fault (hahaha) 

The postcards here are quite cheap - around 30 - 50 cent only. 


THIS PLACE will be my next destination whenever I visit Greece again in the future!

I learned a lot of tricks to minimize my travel budget during my 7 months-long travel in Europe until at one point, I could say that even though everything is expensive in Europe, BUT if you know the trick, your wallet will not suffer. So, here are 7 ways to minimize your travel budget ala Traveler's Passport :)  1. Plan your travel at the latest 2 months before your journey.  The longer your plan, the better. But 2 months is the minimum - to get a cheap ticket for your Ryan Air's flight, or a promo ticket for your over night Eurolines' bus. Berkeliling Roma ala "Angels and Demons"

Dalam edisi pos hari ini, saya akan membahas tentang kota Roma, Italia.  Saya akan memfokuskan pos ini pada beberapa tempat yang sempat terekam di dalam film "Angels and Demons"  Film "Angels and Demons" menceritakan tentang seseorang bernama Robert Langdon yang ingin menguak soal Illuminati, sebuah organisasi yang hendak menghancurkan Vatican. Dalam ceritanya, Vatican sedang dalam proses pemilihan Paus dari 4 kardinal, oleh karena kematian Paus yang sebelumnya. Masalah dimulai ketika keempat kardinal tiba-tiba diculik oleh pengikut Illuminati dan mereka mengancam akan membunuh kardinal tersebut satu per satu di tempat yang tidak diketahui. Saat inilah Robert Langdon dipanggil oleh pihak Vatican untuk menyelamatkan kardinal-kardinal yang diculik dari kelompok Illuminati.
